Built in Denmark in 1954 by the renowned Børresen Boat Yard, ‘Skaten’ is an exceptional boat in search of an exceptional owner. A ‘pocket cruiser’ with brightwork everywhere the boat was in a class of its own at one time. The prior owner lavished a great deal of care on the boat but unfortunately the boat has not seen that level of care for some time due to the untimely and unanticipated passing of its owner. As such, Skaten is something of a faded beauty. Thus, the ideal purchaser will be someone who appreciates the exceptional potential of the boat and understands the work involved in realizing that potential.
Any person having a serious interest in examining the boat with a view to making an offer should contact the estate administrator to arrange a visit to Owl Harbor Marina in Isleton, where the boat is docked. The sale will be an ‘as-is’ sale. Sails and a 6 hp Evinrude outboard engine will be included.
Price: $4,000 OBO.
